Vasudha Alankara is an entrepreneurial story that begins with a woman's deep-rooted love for traditional craft and antique temple jewellery, and an affection for antique ornament design she could never set aside.
Every ornament of Vasudha Alankara carries that seed feeling: the wide-eyed wonder of a girl stepping into an antique fashion jewellery stall. It carries the spirit of alankaram, adornment rooted in heritage.
This conviction lived quietly in her life partner, Sudeep Chandanathil, carried through years of long hours and constant pressure in his corporate consultancy career.
Even there, he found himself drawn back to the same beauty: antique idols and the gleaming pooja pieces found in the shops around Guruvayur. He came to see turning that beauty into a business as a passion of his own, not only hers.
Together, they turned two passions into one shared venture: Vasudha Alankara.
